We're absolutely over the moon to announce we've been chosen as one of the studios to be funded by the UK Games Fund as part of Round 10. With a record breaking year of 110 applicants, we are privileged to stand amongst the many other studios also getting funded.
We will receive £12k between January and March 2023 in monthly instalments to work on a vertical slice of our game "The Quiet Things". We will then get the chance to secure a second part of £18k further down the line.
Paul Durrant, CEO at UK Games Fund, said:
“Round 10 brings a milestone moment as our portfolio of funded projects passes the 200 mark. Each funding round has been carefully tuned to the needs of the UK’s early-stage games development sector allowing support in a wide range of different situations. With our continuing funding until 2025 confirmed by DCMS, we’ll continue to fine-tune our approach to maximise the impact our support can have, also learning from the many successes that have been triggered by our funding since we started in 2015.
Our funding will mainly go on art and dialogue for the game at this stage as those are the two main needs at this point. It's incredibly exciting, and we'd like to thank the UK Games Fund for taking a chance on our project!
