We are pleased to announce we have launched our Kickstarter Campaign to help raise money for the development of our debut game 'The Quiet Things'.
Why Kickstarter?
Kickstarter has a long history of helping games creators raise money through crowd funding to help with the development of their game. We received funding from the UK Games Fund in January to develop a vertical slice of the game, which was are now coming to the end of and would desperately love to continue development.
How does Kickstarter funding work?
You can make a pledge at any time and select a reward tier (anything from an early copy of the game to custom in-game art). We have a goal of £8,900 set to get us through to the end of October, this would mean we can at least have a minimum of "Chapter 1" completed, so we could release the game in 3 chapters if we really needed to (although it would be far better to release as a whole).
Kickstarter is also "all or nothing" funding, so if we do not reach our goal, we don't get any of the money and you will not be charged. You will only be charged at the end of the campaign and if we are successful in raising all the money.
